Toileting is a sensitive time for children of this age. Regular staff will handle toileting and/or changing of clothes. Children are encouraged to be independent, but may require some assistance. Staff will assist a child who needs help to use the washroom.
Boys and girls use the same bathroom facilities, but NEVER at the same time. Toileting is a private matter and is treated in a delicate way.
