Healthy Snack Ideas

Children are encouraged to develop necessary skills such as unscrewing, pouring and enwrapping, and follow routines independently.

Staff members participate and model appropriate behaviours at the meal table.

Snack time is used to facilitate conversation involving children.
. use words (wait for words)
. staff teach, demonstrate and model good table manners
. children are encouraged to be responsible for their own clean-up (i.e. when spills occur, children are expected to get paper towel)

PLEASE NOTIFY US OF ANY ALLERGIES YOUR CHILD MAY HAVE
