Our facility accommodates both children who are in diapers and children who are learning to use the toilet. We have two designated changing areas that are disinfected after each child is changed.
All staff practice and model proper safety hygiene and universal precautions.
-Wash hands before and after changing a child
-Wear disposable gloves
-Dispense of diapers in a garbage can that is out of reach of the children
All children are encouraged to practice appropriate self help skills. A sink is located in the bathrooms and children are assisted in hand washing after diapering and toileting, after playing out doors, after touching pets, after nose blowing and before eating etc.
The centre provides baby wipes and face cloths. Parents are responsible for providing diapers, bum cream etc.
